1. Install R3MAPPER

Install R3MAPPER from the Microsoft Store, then open the app and sign in to your account from the License tab when you are ready to activate.

2. Install the virtual controller prerequisite

R3MAPPER sends output to a virtual Xbox controller. For that output to appear in Windows, your PC needs the ViGEmBus virtual controller driver. ViGEmBus is not bundled with R3MAPPER and is not installed by R3MAPPER.

Download ViGEmBus from its official release page, run the installer, and restart R3MAPPER after installation is complete.

3. Activate your license

Buy or manage your R3MAPPER license from your account. Copy the activation key, paste it into the License tab in R3MAPPER, then choose Activate this PC.

4. Turn remapping on

Return to the Aim or Buttons tab, apply your profile, and turn remapping on. If R3MAPPER still reports that the virtual controller driver is missing, restart Windows and try again.
